Another thing that flooded the timelines, whether real time pics, or people 'borrowing' other people's pics. Its September, and the First Monday in September means one thing...LABOR DAY...for some, END OF SUMMER, NO MORE WHITE, NO MORE WHITE PARTIES etc, for others it means NO WORK OR SCHOOL ON THAT DAY, for alot of people, it means the LABOR DAY PARADE ON EASTERN PARKWAY, BROOKLYN NY!!! Thousands of people from everywhere, flock to this strip in BK Every year to view the floats, the music, the festivities, family, friends, and oh yeah, THE COSTUMES.... whether your a size 8 or a size 28, whether you have a six pack or an 12 pack, whether your lean & tight, or loose and jiggly, scars, stretch marked, bullet holes..WHO CARES? doesn't matter if your a nurse, dr, construction worker, lawyer, or even a Police Officer everyday, on this day, If you proud and from the West Indies, you gonna rock that costume, do your dance, and wave your flag.


As a former Brooklynite, (by residence only) its one of those things, you look forward to. Over the last few years, negativity, political bs, and violence tried to limit it, but no matter what..I don't think NO ONE could ever SHUT IT DOWN...

Since I know one of my photographer friends were probably out there, snapping pics, and gettin work, I didn't get any hook ups, so I had to hook myself up, by taking to the internet and 'borrowing' a few pics. I've been seeing this chick on the internet for a minute. She a model, and her body is wild...she been tearing down carnivals in Trini, Jamaica, Barbados, and she come thru on the Eastern Parkway joint...Her name is Sibongile Cummings
