Sometimes, I don't know if I miss my people in NY or the stuff to do in NY...One of my people, fellow Lo head, sneaker customizer and Artist, TTK, is doin it again, along side, wit KLASHWON. This time, its goin down at the 1plus1plus art exhibit at White Rabbit in NYC this Wed April 3rd. I sure would hate to miss that, Especially being that my boy TTK mixes contemporary, urban, graff, Ahhh what am I talkin bout....I'm not an art critic, I LIKE WHAT I LIKE....AND TTK's art Is on point... just peep the samples, of the stuff I LIKE

THROWBACK THURSDAYS/VINTAGE ITEM- ADIDAS SWEATSHIRTS

I SEE Adidas doin their thing with the originals line....and the Jeremy Scott line, and its all good. However, back then, Adidas had a line of sweatshirts and jackets that celebrated the olympic games, winter games, surfing, and you know to be down wit the king back then, meant owning a RUN DMC Adidas sweatshirt to match your sneakers.
Some of em are lonnngg gone, but you can find most of em online, and in most vintage sotres going for probably MORE than what they originally costs back then. Since vintage is all the rage now, and everybody seems to be retro-ing stuff from old...maybe Adidas will retro one of these joints...

I like one in particular, a little Jamaican, by way of England joint by the name of Jahreen...aka JAHREEN THE DREAM...SUPER THICK, LOVELY ACCENT, DARK SKIN.... a perfect package...

THROWBACK THURSDAY VINTAGE ITEM-CREAM FILA

If your an ol skool head, who likes to keep his fresh on & poppin. Then you probably owned a pair of Fila tennis sneakers. Or want to buy another pair over & over. One of the most favorite, sought after colorways were the Cream...IN MY OPINION!!! Perfect with khakis pants or khaki shorts, some denim shorts or just some regular jeans. If your lucky, you can find a store lettin' em go for Under $60 bucks. However, theres some retailers that won't take LESS than $75. Me, I'm a bargain hunter, so I'll be looking for the $60 and under deals. Spring is here, Summer will be here before you know it. Gotta get a pair.

CHOCOLATE THURSDAYS-BUFFIE 'THE BODY' CARRUTH

We All like a lil booty. It seems we became overly infatuated, involved, obsessed with booty over the last few years. Before chicks were risking life, limb and even freedom for a Bigger, Rounder, Monstrosity of an Ass, This woman was doin' it Waaaayyy BIG !!! LITERALLY....Buffie Carruth came into the game, with Chocolate skin, pretty face, small waist, and MEGA ASS!!! Real Talk, she was one of the original booty chicks. She did the magazines, the videos, the party appearances, the talk shows, and all the stuff that surrounded her big ass. Now, she has left the game, and started her own website http://buffiebody.blogspot.com/ and http://www.bodynomics.com/ both websites have workout videos that can help you get your butt right. Just found out, that she is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Thats great!!! Mega Ass or a lil bit of Ass...I find her very beautiful, and wonder would she have been as prevalent in the game if her ass wasn't so big, since my Chocolate sistas don't Always get the shine they deserve. She was smart enough to get in & get out before she got too old and too tired. I also gotta keep in mind, there are alot of booty vixens runnin' around wit (Real & Fake) Ass Claiming the throne. Its like a Battle of the booty out here. I'm glad that Buff was able to get in/out and parlay that into a more healthier venture, while these other chicks are using their looks, I mean their Ass, to get them to the top of this so called modeling game... GOOD LUCK WIT DAT CHICKS!

Once again it Throwback Thursday, and today's VINTAGE PICK of the day is these mofos here!!! THE NIKE AIR FORCE 180 mid 'CHARLES BARKLEYS (original colorway aka my fave aka I HAD THESE!!!)


Yep. Alot of people don't know, that Michael Jordan Wasn't the ONLY b-ball player with a signature shoe. Nike hooked alot of ballers up at one time, and is still doing so today. Even though I love Js, the Barkley line of nike airs, weren't bad either. Theres only a few sneakers that'll make me move from Js, and Barkleys are them. If I can find this colorway again, man. Now, the FORCE 180 his (David Robinsons) are making a major comeback, and in all type of different colorways, and even though some are kinda 'loud', overall, the nike air force 180 is a hot shoe...Did I mention very Comfortable also!

one of my faves are nike air max 90 (infrared) I remember havn a chance to cop these some time back, for a real reasonable price, but I didn't jump on it...DAMN!!! now if I want em, I gotta pay REAL DEAL PRICE ...oh well, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
