LABOR DAY ALA BROOKLYN STYLE

THERES A LOT OF APPREHENSIONS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT LEAVING NYC, AND MOVING TO THE SOUTH

-THE LACK OF AROUND THE CLOCK PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
-THE LACK OF ALL NIGHT SPOTS
-THE SCARCENESS OF FASHION, AS WELL AS EXCLUSIVE SNEAKER BOUTIQUES,
-THE SCARCENESS OF MULTICULTURAL FOODS such as CARIBBEAN CUISINE....

WELL, I have managed to find the Caribbean cuisines...and when I don't feel like the drive, I make the dishes Myself...However, I do have to have my Jerk seasoning 'imported' in. LOL.... Now I still have Yet to find the exclusive sneaker spots, and the only ALL NIGHT SPOT is the famed WAFFLE house...AND thats USUALLY after you did the club thing that ENDS like 2AM, 3AM tops!!!

As for Holidays, other than closings, and NO MAIL running, THERE ARE QUITE A FEW EVENTS TO CELEBRATE THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY.... a parade, a festival,We even had a CARIBBEAN Festival ....but NOTHING comes close to the WEST INDIAN AMERICAN PARADE held in BROOKLYN NY!!! EVERY YEAR...I must admit, I haven't been for some years, prior to leaving NYC, but I always seem to get a glance at some of the parade's most memorable pics....and Since, I'm a 'VISUAL' person....I have quite a few FAVES....
TAKE A LOOKSEE...
