Happy HALLOWEEN!!!!

ONCE AGAIN, ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR....

ITS HALLOWEEN!!!!! Now I would be lying if I said Adults don't love Halloween as much as kids. Truth is, Adults Probally love Halloween MORE!!! Yeah, we get to sort through, and eat some of our kids' candy, and ok, we get to take pics of them looking adorable in their costumes, and yep, we definately love to take them kids door to door and yell "TRICK OR TREAT" at our neighbors..But when the sun goes down, the moon comes out, and the kids go to bed, is when the Adults enjoy the Halloween fun. Halloween themed parties have been going on for some time now, and they already started as early as Last weekend. This is the time for Adults, to dress up as someone else, pretend to be another character for a day, maybe, become their favorite cartoon, video game or movie character. Thing is, when the women do it....Awwwww man, it just looks sooooo nice!!! cause Every costume idea has a sexy side to it. Robin, Nurse, Cop, Inmate automatically becomes, SEXYROBIN, SEXYNURSE, SEXYCOP, SEXYINMATE, and hell...characters like Wonder woman, Storm from the X-men, and Ninjas, are ALREADY SEXY!!!!


I haven't got out much this month, but I know a few people that did. Whether they snapped pics at parties, or they were dressed up themselves...I was able to see the interesting Halloween costumes this year. Enjoy, and have a safe and HAPPY HALLOWEEN

#FLASHBACK FRIDAYS......CARTOONS ON CLOTHES!!!

No matter how Thug or hard you are, or you swear to be, You watched Cartoons. No matter how smart or studious you think you are, You watched Cartoons. We all did. Most of us Still do. We grew up on Cartoons. We even had our faves. Mines was G I JOE, TRANSFORMERS, THUNDERCATS. Its so interesting when I watch the movie adaptions of these cartoons, and compare & contrast the differences and similarities. We all watched/watch cartoons.


What I liked, was in the early days of fashion, when the designers started mixing the Cartoons we watched, with clothing & accessories. They would take a regular sweatshirt, put a character like uhh, lets say, Goofy on it, slap a hefty price tag on it, and POOF!!! we all went crazy tryin to buy it. worked double shifts...saved a little extra...Hell, some even Boosted it. One brand in particular was the italian company Gilmar, most of us may know as ICEBERG. the cartoon ish was known as ICEBERG HISTORY designed by Moroccan born/French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (who clothing goes by JC/DC nowadays) . History was that brand, because it put classic cartoons from Tom & Jerry to Disney to Looney Tunes on clothing and accessories and heads PAID THAT GUAP for it. With the hip hop culture, we wanna wear what the rappers wear. Big gold chain. check. gold fronts. check. $300 sweater.check. Alot of us even wanted to rap. LOL. Thing is, alot of rappers had stylists, that brought the clothes to the video sets...and alot of rappers just had dat $ to purchase these expensive threads. I read that Jay-Z collected up to 150 ICEBERG HISTORY pieces. WOW!!! Another brand that went there with the cartoons was MOSCHINO. The Cheap & Chic line featured accessories, perfumes as well as clothing showcasing Olive Oyl & Popeye. I even bought my wife a Moschino Olive Oyl scarf back in the day. From NY discount famous designer retailer Century 21. Even for Century, it was Chic, but not that Cheap.

With the total domination of the internet, and sites like Amazon, and ebay, one can still purchase & own a piece of this fashion history. Or just go to the websites of these fashion brands. Yes, they are Still around, but I doubt you will find any cartoon stuff for sale, and WOULD YOU WANT TO??? I can't front. I like silk scarfs...Yes, I'M A MAN, and I like that particular women's accessory. I would still buy Another one for my wife to rock. Not for bed tho...

Say wutcha want, call her fake, call her commercial, call her corny, but If she writes her own rhymes, which I think she does....Then she is fire on da mic. I was listening to 'MONSTER' (ft Kanye, Rick Ross & Jay Z) while on my 2 mile walk, and just listening to her part over & over, I think it may be safe to say..She kinda KILLED Everyone on the track! Add that with a cute face, nice smile and nice lil body (jury is still out on the realness of her Ass) and you got you one Nicki Minaj...Not a big fan of female rappers, theres a few, that are not bad on the eyes, however, their lyrical content is to be desired. Do like I do, just turn down the volume when they start rapping. Alot of female rappers want to screw up their face, make thug music,and wear fitteds with the hair coming underneath. I don't like that!!! I like the pretty pretty girley girls who wear make up, tight clothes and expensive heels. Yeah call me a chauvinist, But hey, we must agree, In a male dominated industry, it is very hard to make it as a female rapper, unless you do all of the above. You don't have to be naked, but Damn shorty, Smile at least. Why you so Mad? LOL. Anywho, I don't really get a chance to sample new music or to watch new videos, unless I'm in front of this computer, visiting other blogs for info, news, pics that I can put on this blog. I see Nicki and Bustah got a track coming out called 'Twerk it' and if the heavily reggae flavored chune don't get you attention, maybe 2 words will. Not Busta Rhymes, Not Bangin Beat....give up, NICKI'S JEANS
